Realize that I haven't posted anything new....I'm still trying to figure out which way I want to take this blog. Whether it's going to be (a) purely personal (b) something else (yeah...that narrows it down.
OK...personal stuff: work life crazy, home life chaotic, what else is new :)
Following news on Gulf oil spill almost obsessively. Have we as the human race finally screwed our planet permanently??? It's not like we can go rent a condo on the moon or something!! We have to live here -- and today the news reports that oil is showing up on the Florida panhandle and there are oil "plumes" under the water over 6 MILES wide! When does that little surprise pop up to the surface? Or does it just wreck havoc below that we can't see, but kills everything alive? What do we do now? How will my son's generation deal with all that has happened -- and his children after that?
It's all just too much.
Heading out soon for errands -- and to spend time with the family this weekend. Deep breath and a little prayer -- life goes on.
